Hi I'm Jamie,
I frequently work in both team projects and individually to create, execute and deliver briefs for clients including ESMS Schools, Scottish Touch Association, All Set Tennis and GB/Scotland sport stars.
As chief photographer with Scottish Touch Rugby I have been fortunate to travel with the squad to 3 European championships covering the event and telling the deeper story. My remit is not simply to capture the games themselves but also the essence of what Touch Rugby is all about; the sport, community, camaraderie and fun.
A personal interest in motorsport has introduced me to a vast range of photographic experiences in a very different environment. I have covered revival events, hill climbs and more, this has been another area in my photography that I’ve challenged myself and driven harder to get the event and it’s experience really portrayed through a set of images. I love to try to really show what it is to be there and make the viewer understand the emotion of an event and make it most memorable.
Another genre I have worked in is music photography; directly photographing for emerging musician Colin Myles and band JimiGetYourFunkOn. I was involved photographing my client in multiple locations which included studio work, as well as his recent gig at ‘Brewheimia’.
